Role Summary: 

As the motorsports program continues to grow and Audi of America invests in a fully operational customer racing program, it is necessary to employ additional contractors to assist the Audi Sport customer racing program and program budget. The Motorsport coordinator directly supports the Motorsport Manager and supports operations related to the Audi Sport customer racing technical support center in the US and customer support within each race series. The person also helps coordinate all aspects of Audi Sport customer racing throughout the U.S. Market; vehicle sales, budget analysis, organization of race series and partnerships. It is necessary that this person has particular expertise in the racing business, preferably carrying a degree in marketing/communication and past experience working in current racing series or automotive program. 

Role Responsibilities: 

• Sell Audi Sport customer racing vehicles, parts, and race series to new and existing clients 
• Attend races, testing, and other Motorsport appropriate events to support customers, parts vendors, Engineers, and governing race bodies 
• Provide race weekend summary report to AoA and AG following each race 
• Project coordination, assist with program development regarding Audi Sport image in the US market 
• Create presentation materials, monthly reporting for car and parts sales, budget and relevant KPI’s 
• Assist with strategies to attract sponsors and business partners 
• Generate creative ways to promote Motorsport and retail business 
• Develop documents for internal and external presentations 
• Publish quarterly marketing data results for AoA and partners 
• Maintains an awareness of changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions, adapting this knowledge into the Motorsport planning phase 
• Work with internal and external vendors to support Motorsport program, vehicle launches, hospitality suites, and brand appropriate events 
• Manage incoming AUDI AG race vehicles incl. contracts, route and finalize all appropriate paperwork 
• Oversee parts sales, including verifying orders, tracking, logistics, and monitoring financial impact 
• Validate and process parts shipping invoices and purchase orders, work with VWGroup to produce tracking and reports 
• Responsible for submitting all KSRM and business case forms for Motorsport projects 
• Coordinate insurance, customers, and vendors for Motorsport testing 
• Work with other departments to manage, track, and provide reporting on Audi Tradition Fleet
