Role Responsibilities: 

• Help translate Audi business strategy into tangible, complementary IT strategy and programs 
• Develop together with Audi Strategy a prioritized, strategic Audi IT program portfolio 
• Drive technology portfolio management in areas including technology demand aggregation and analysis, portfolio governance and reporting 
• Inform the Audi organization on current technology trends and innovation in automotive and peripheral industries 
• Identify opportunities to resolve business pain points, leverage technology and enhance operational efficiency 
• Plan, coordinate and direct strategy activities on behalf of ITS with the Audi of America organization 
• Collaborate with IT management to ensure that all IT projects are structures appropriately and relevant processes are followed 
• Manage relationships with key AoA business stakeholders and understand business needs from Audi’s various functional areas 
• Specifically, this role has the following responsibilities: 

IT Strategic Planning and Implementation – 50% 
• Help formulate Audi’s IT Strategy and lead the implementation of select strategic areas 
• Lead development and articulation of AoA business requirements in IT projects 
• Identify the technology needs of each department based on Strategy 2025 and translate them into a concrete IT project portfolio with budgets and timelines 
• Maintain Audi Enterprise Technology Portfolio 
• Ensure strategic alignment on applications and infrastructure initiatives 
• Help drive the development of future state technology architecture 
• Rationalize and modernize the technology landscape in order to evolve toward the future state 

Program/Project Management – 40% 
• Estimate and analyze cost, complexity and implications on planned IT initiatives 
• Track, manage and report progress of current, ongoing IT initiatives 
• “Go To” person responsible program status, risks and mitigations 

• Manage dependencies and activities with other departments and projects 
• Ability to run multiple challenging projects simultaneously 

Contract Management – 10% 
• Define, evaluation, negotiate and lead contracts with Audi and third party companies 
• Enforce contract terms, penalties and maintain direct oversight of outsourcing agreement 
• Develop and manage service levels with business partners and service providers 
• Monitor service levels and implement service level improvements 

Required Skills: 
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms 
• 3- 5 years of related experience in application development lifecycle, release management, demand management, enterprise architecture, and/or technology governance 
• Awareness of industry leading solutions, applications and best practices 
• IT operations leadership experience 
• Ability to communicate with senior management 
• 7-10 years IT Experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration 
• Microsoft Suite (PPT, Word, Visio, Excel) 

Desired Skills: 
• Master’s degree in a technology related field or MBA 
• Technology related certification such as ITIL, COBIT or TOGAF 
• Previous consulting experience or international work experience a plus
