 Q. What do you do for Persis?

I am currently a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst.  I will be transitioning into a Functional Lead position, with a potential growth into a Subject Matter Expert.

Q. What is your area of expertise?

I have a great analytical mind and love to trouble shoot.  I strive to understand the big picture so I can make the best decision of where to focus my testing efforts.  I am a strong manual tester with experience in automated testing tools.

Q. How did you get into this field?

For the first 5 years of my IT career, I was a COBOL Developer.  While getting my Bachelors in Computer Science, I was programming in Java and C++.  It was then that I decided I enjoyed trying to break code instead of writing code.

Q. From your point of view, what’s the best reason that companies should consider working with Persis?

Q. If you were not working for Persis, and you could do anything you wanted to do, what would your dream job be?

Work for an auction house.

Q. What is your favorite book and TV show?

Q. What do you do in your spare time?

I love visiting with friends and family, entertaining at my house, and having a good old board game style game night.  I also enjoy traveling.

My quiet times are spent enjoying my new house.   It’s on a great piece of property!

Q. Is there some talent you have that people are surprised to learn about?

I can say the alphabet backwards. I can also write my name backwards with my left hand as I am writing it forward with the right hand.
