Q. What is your area of expertise?

Javascript, HTML/CSS, Agile, end-to-end software development.

Q. How did you get into this field?

I graduated from Western Michigan University with a BS in Computer Science.

Q. If you were not working for Persis, and you could do anything you wanted to do, what would your dream job be?​

The contract I am on right now for GM/Onstar comes really close to my dream job, which is working with a team of developers to build useful, high-quality apps that help the users.

Q.  What do you do in your spare time?

I have gotten involved with several user groups, including Girl Develop It and Detroit Craftsman Guild. I enjoy reading, sci-fi, computer games and bowling.

Q. Is there some other interesting fact about you that people are surprised to learn about?

I took a long hiatus from my career as a software developer to be a stay-at-home-mom. Three boys and several years later, I have finally made it back into IT.
